Thanksgiving day

Thanksgiving day was nice. Started the day with my obligatory "Thanksgiving day" golf game. I went to a course called the Preserve.

We then went over to Norma's for the feast. Joe made a great antipasto plate that you see Pam standing in front of.

We had all the traditional items, like home made mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes.

They were yummy as the expression on my face tells.

Even Norma has that "I ate too much" look in her eyes!

Betsy made a couple of Paula Dean deserts. Not one for pumpkin, but the pumpkin, pecan desert was pretty good.

After that, a few of us retired to watch football, while Lori, Michael, Norma, Betsy & Pam played a spirited game of dominos.

The evening ended back at Dad's watching USC kick the crap out of ASU.

Want to end this post with a big thanks to Aunt Norma. Hard to imagine that as kids we thought this little lady was sooooooooo mean. LOL

I missed being with everybody in California.

And we missed you & the good-ol Thanksgiving of yore. Looks like you were in capable culinary hands, and didn't suffer for lack of goodies! Or your annual T-day tee time.

Michael is getting so old!
